A new month and a new Monday, albeit the second of the month, so here's another linocut map from the book 'Caught by the River A COLLECTION OF WORDS ON WATER'.
This time the chapter in question was written by Peter Kirby and is titled 'Palm-reading the Helford' and it relates the wonderful tale of a journey, or perhaps it should be described as a personal odyssey, by kayak around some of the Helford River.
As always it is a wonderful read so get scouring those second-hand book shops on the internet and buy yourself a copy.
