Dusk. Silt Road

Another print is finished, this time the first of the series where the subject is the old buildings, bridges and jetties on the drains and rivers of West Norfolk.
On this occasion the print shows an old Victorian pumping station where water would have been lifted from the surrounding fen dykes into a main drain. The are ten prints in this edition and they are printed in seven colours on 310gsm Magnani Litho White paper.
Now it's on to the next print and the boss is already on about starting to cut and print our Christmas cards too, because before you know it's nearly November and it will be on us before we know it. Or so I am told.
There is no pause for reflection or peace.

  1. Au contraire, dear boy. Always take the time to reflect and "smell the flowers along the way". And don't you start on about winter too. It's bad enough with that harbinger of doom, BB.
