All you need is an old Belfast or Butler's sink, fill it up with compost, some miniature cyclamen and pansies, position in a sheltered place away from the cold wind off the sea and hey presto! A really cheerful burst of colour.
I do like a bit of pink in a planting, never mind the reds, so I'm giving this display a ten out ten for cheering me up on a rainy and quite a dull day.
It really is an 'Oi, you, look at me' kind of display.
Play it right and you get most things to come again and flower right through to December these days. I have the 3rd if not 4th batch of self set nasturtiums in flower this year along the drive. Not a pink un in sight though...
