Apparently we have to blame the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia for yesterday's red sun, yellowish sky and the cars covered in a reddish coloured dust. This is what the sun looked like at three o'clock in the afternoon and all that with a temperature of 24.5C too.
The dust is being dragged from the Sahara and other detritus is coming from the wildfires in Portugal and Spain. There's not a lot you can say to that reasoning so we'll just have to wait for some really heavy rain to wash everything clean again.
A hurricane comes from the United States and dumps Saharan dust and Iberian ash on us, that's a really good trick.
So where are the goose entrails when you need them to check if it really is the end of the world?
End of the world stuff.
