Another day and another colour

I'm working on a new print at the moment and it has reached the stage where it's ready for the fifth colour to be printed, and there'll be a couple more colours to be printed after that too.
The subject is one of my favourites, an old farm worker's cottage that sits at the head of a dyke out on the fen. I don't know what it is about the building that is so fascinating, as yet it hasn't appeared on the print but it must be the composition of the dykes and fields that make the location so interesting. In fact if it was situated on a main drain I think we would just have to make an offer for it.
There's no chance of that event ever happening but don't tell the Boss anyway.
Meanwhile in the photograph below you can see that the linework and detailed cutting of the cottage have now been added to the print, so gradually we are getting closer to the finished article.
