From behind the curtain again

Back to things Russian again, and here's a wonderful decal on the propeller blade of an old Russian military aircraft. I don't have a clue what it all means but the hammer and sickle are obvious as is the sabre and the rifle butt and bayonet. Is it a squadron insignia or something more personal for the pilot?
I would been pleased to have designed the decal because it has a real air of 'don't mess with me' about it and the aircraft, a Polykarpov Po2, was in fact flown as a night fighter/bomber on the eastern front and crewed by two ladies. Just a thought but Polly Karpov, it almost sounds like the pilot's name.
I don't think you would mess with them either.
