We are back to two Jack Russell Terriers, but only temporarily. Our daughter's Parson Russell, aptly and appropriately named Fizz is staying with us for ten days while her own family are away on a skiing holiday.
That's her on sentry duty sitting behind Barney on the stairs and believe me they really are terriers in arms. You can't take your eyes off her for a moment with her propensity for thieving food and getting up to all kinds of mischief. Somehow she is capable of jumping from a standing start straight up and onto the kitchen worktop, she reminds me of the Jack Russell Terrier in the John Smith's beer advertisement.
Leave food out and unattended at your peril because it will be gone and they will both have eaten the lot in seconds. She even pinched my peanuts last night, fortunately she didn't touch my glass of Abbot Ale.
Sensible terrier.
No one touch a person's Abbot Ale.
