The really cold weather seems to have departed but the question that remains hanging is at what point does March stop coming in like a lion? This was the view down the frozen dyke on one of the morning walks last week, Monday or Tuesday I think, when it was cold but everyone thought that the weathermen were up to their usual exaggeration about what was coming just so that they were covered if 'it' did happen.
At present we are enjoying fog that keeps lifting a little and then rolling back in but at least everything is slowly thawing although the dykes, puddles and drains are still covered in ice although the timber stacks around the farms have lost their coating of frost and snow. Roll-on spring which apparently started on March 1.
Really, are you sure?
Just a glimmer of Norfolk Bog Shed Door Blue .......
