The latest linocut print certainly mirrors the weather, when I started the cutting this block it was just a 'normal' winter but now the Old Bedford river is like something in Siberia and if we get more snow it will rapidly cover the iced-up river and it will just disappear into the landscape until the thaw begins.
The effect of the sky and water being two shades of grey is an optical illusion too, they are both the same colour printed from the same block.
Frozen Old Bedford is printed in four colours in an edition of ten, measures 210mm x 210mm and is printed on 300gsm Madrid Litho.
