West Norfolk shadow shock

We couldn't believe it today, such was our disbelief that we simply stood staring at a blue sky, the fleecy white clouds, sunshine and the shadows. After what seems like weeks of the great greyness the sun actually broke through the clouds and shone on West Norfolk. Quite a shock I can tell you, to go from peering through the murk with your eyes watering because of the icy wind to shading your eyes because the light was so bright.
There was only one thing to do, get the camera out, adjust the filters and take a photograph to use as proof that it really happened. There's the photograph complete with the shadow, obviously there were other shadows too but that was a rather fine arty one.
Amazing. We saw it with our own eyes.
