Bomb disposal needed?

If you were walking along your local beach and saw this sticking up out of the sand you might well stand back, well back, and telephone bomb disposal. In fact the suspicious object is a harmless and very large pig feeding trough nicknamed a 'Mexican Hat' because it looks like sombrero and being made of cast iron it's exceptionally heavy too. It was made in Bury St. Edmunds by Cornish & Lloyd as a feed trough for pig farmers, hence the considerable volume of the trough, pigs have a proper appetite.

One of our farmer neighbours has given it to the Boss for use in the garden as a planter, being three feet in diameter and having already poured in a full sack of growing compound it only remains for the Boss to buy to buy some colourful bedding plants to grow in it. The farmer has been promised a cherry cake made with fresh cherries for his kindness so everyone is happy.
I'm on standby for the imminent arrival of the plants.
