We both like a bit of pink, altogether a lovely colour in the garden. This pair of rose bushes, along with a few others are in what we call the back garden but really it's the side garden on the north side of the house and we don't have back garden at all, just a path and a fence. Typically Norfolk in other words.
The sun only really starts to get into this area in late spring and summer and this year with the present long rain-free spell the roses seem to be flourishing, lots and lots of flowers, growth and super colour too. Never mind the wonderful scent.
Anyway it's just pink and more pink in varying shades and tones, quite excellent. It can't be bad really so it's time for a coffee in the summer house and a leisurely sit to admire a bit of hard won horticultural success.
Greenfly? Where?
