A sunny day and you look up and think,'that's interesting'. Is it Mickey Mouse, the shadow of some creature or an original Robert Motherwell painting. I wish that it was the latter but it's just a shadow thrown by the fig tree on the umbrella at the garden table.
The photograph below shows how it was thrown onto the canvass but you can see how shadows used to scare you as a child as they became something that they were most definitely not as they morphed into monsters, demons or worse still Bible John.
I've scared myself now, it's yet another form of Fen Gothic.
