Finally we got a sunset that had more than a little drama to it and it looked as if it had been stolen from a fresco in an Italian church. All we need are some cherubs and the rest of the heavenly host flying down those rays of the sun.
Now that that the bar has finally been raised in sunset terms we're expecting big things in the coming weeks. We await the nuclear blast of light that comes with a really florid, over the top and dramatic lights-out sunset.
Right, over to you sun, clouds and weather, and we'll report back when the atmospherics realise their potential and really get their act together.
