Well the weather seems to have adjusted itself back to what you could call the seasonal default setting and after the slaughtering heat of the summer I have to say I am enjoying the experience.
I was working on the printing press the other evening there was a bit of a sunset and the rain was pattering away on the window, it really is a calming and relaxing sound. Anyway it was quite a zen evening, proofing the first colour on a new linocut and no music on just the sound of the rain. Lovely.
It really is an underrated and highly recommended sound to relax the body and soul. I think a little bit of the 'new age' experience is creeping in.
