The football hasn't gone away this summer and the new season is now fully underway and as you can see preparations for the season are still in full-swing at this West Norfolk venue.
The goal at the far end has been painted to blend in with the background to make the striker's life harder and in compensation for that the pitch has been mown and cut to perfection. We expect that the groundsman will get round setting up the other goal by the weekend and no doubt that will be in camouflage too. The eagle-eyed amongst you will also notice that the height of the crossbar has been adjusted for height challenged goalkeepers too, as compensation the goals seems wider but what do the rules of the game mean?
