Me and my shadows

Shadows have always fascinated me, sometimes they can be dense, dark and foreboding and other times they seem to be thin and fragile I suppose in reality they are at the mercy of the light source, which is mainly the sun, but of course it can be moonlight or artificial light. They all give different effects and and atmospheres.
Out walking the two terriers in the early morning and your shadow follows you along the dykeside with only slight angle changes and interestingly the terriers sometimes chase their own shadows barking furiously at it, so they see the phenomena too.
Plants can't alter their angle to the light source, well apart from getting bigger, so they have to take it as it comes but they do chase the light and grow towards it. Well, there you have it some of the meditations of a solitary walker.
      Or are they ramblings
