Camouflage. It's brilliant

Well it is when it works, and in this case the moth's camouflage seems just a little inappropriate, the moth being brilliant white and settled down for the night on a dark brown fence. There are quite a large number of these ermine moths around at the moment so this must be some form of peak season for them.
The attire is a bit regal and fancy, and what a collar too, the insect must be a member of the moth peerage. The random black spots are very smart and he, or she, looks ready to sweep into some very knightly gathering at the castle and is certainly dressed to impress.
Right, so it's full marks for the ermine moth and very soon we'll have the cinnabar moths dressed in their very striking black and red outfit.
It just gets more and more exciting in West Norfolk.
