The writing's on the wall

When the Boss and I are out and about driving around our part of Norfolk we love finding and seeing restored buildings and restored non-conformist churches. The non-conformists, that's the Baptists, Wesleyans, Methodists and their various spin-offs, had a way with austerity, was that because of their beliefs or lack of funding?
This building had been beautifully restored and all the brickwork cleaned and pointed where it needed to be with lime mortar. The foundation stones that serve as a memorial to the great and good that provided funds for the building had been cleaned and that is a proper front door. The letterforms above the door are a real treat too.
And the Jubilee bit? That's Queen Victorias Jubilee.
All-in-all a pleasure to find and see.
