Ten years after

Recently we had  a trip into the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds for a few days to do a little exploring of an area that the Boss and I love, we would have liked to move there but it's an awkward drive for the kids because it would add an extra two and a half hours to their drive up at the weekends.
We'd found a lovely converted barn to stay in but when we got there the next morning we found that it was once a Free Methodist Chapel. We live in what was once a Baptist Church that has been converted into a home and now we end up staying in another church that was built ten years before ours.
Perhaps someone is trying to tell us something, apart from showing us a delightful piece of incised lettering that had been retained.
Below is our incised or moulded lettering as a comparison. Maybe the Baptists had more money or better sponsors ten years after?
