Cirrus Intortus or Tangled Cirrus

We do love cloud formations, sometimes we both spend the evening sitting outside just watching the cloud formations and the sky changing colour and the clouds performing their strange aerobatics. This cluster of what I think is Cirrus intortus was in a huge area of West Norfolk sky right above the house one morning this week.
The cloud formation looks as if it is being stirred with a big stick, there's no real pattern just a consistent tangled irregularity.
That's the real pleasure for skywatchers is that it doesn't matter what time of day it is there's always something interesting to view and the programme is constantly changing. Predictably the sky is a pretty well even grey this morning so as always there's nothing on sky.

  2. There were couple here too but now we have the big blow again. Where is some steady rain. I watched a shoal of Bream on the Sixteen foot, 2.5 to 5.0lbs that was easily a 150 yards long. Quite amazing to see. ATB, John
