The last aubergine of the year from the greenhouse and in reality the tomatoes aren't quite the last picking. We planted three of a fairly late fruiting variety, called Mountain delight, in August and they're living up to their promise, it's a slow process but they are steadily ripening despite being well into autumn.
The aubergine will make a lovely dip, can't remember what it's called, Baba Ganoush the Boss tells me, but take my word for it because delicious is the defining word.
