At the moment we have what is called 'biblical rain' and it's just not really very Christmassy, the sky is a filthy dark grey and the rain is coming down like stair-rods. So, on the day before Christmas Eve I've decided to travel back a couple of weeks, back to the snowy, icy freezing weather and feature some of the ice art produced by all those industrious spiders that live all around us.
It always fascinates me the way that certain weather conditions highlight the efforts of the normally invisible spiders that are, quite literally, everywhere around us. Foggy weather, misty weather and of course icy weather. So here they are, Merry Christmas everyone and a great big thank you for your efforts spiders.
Fantastic photo's John.
