I love these cheerful little fellows because even on the greyest and most miserable days they bring a smile to your face. For the last couple of years, probably because of the mild weather, we've had odd ones flowering in Christmas week but not this winter.
Since the middle of January the little nodding groups of white flowers have gradually gathered momentum until there's now quite a display of these clumps of white scattered around the borders in the front garden. They're a sign of the Spring to come for me and the other bulbs should begin to make an appearance soon.
The thought of that definitely puts a smile on your face.
Now that's a breath of fresh air.
ReplyDeleteAlan, a real pleasure to see in all the greyness. Mind you we've got snowdrops, you've got snow! All the best, John
