Next day dawned

Just to lighten the mood, and no pun intended, here's a few of the dawn skies from the last week in West Norfolk. All week we've temperatures stuck in the minus category enhanced by the fact that winds from the east have not ceased to blow for about ten days

The lowest on the mercury maximum and minimum thermometer has been minus ten and even now on Saturday morning it's minus two. Grounds for optimism then because it's warming up. Thank goodness for our store of logs which has been a real godsend through January and February although it is being to look well used. Never mind you can't burn it and keep it and the wood burning stove has been a real comfort and pleasure.

No wonder the two terriers are none to pleased about being turfed out for a pee in the mornings, it's a case of get the job done and get back indoors as quickly as possible for breakfast. We'll worry about the walk when it happens.

    1. Thanks Alan, We've got the cold until Tuesday. At the moment -3C and with the wind chill -10C. Cold enough for me. The wood burner is doing its job. Stay safe, John

    1. BB, at the moment an East wind blowing at 35mph, -5 and rain promised. If the terriers want a walk they can go on their own...
