A lovely surprise turned up in the post yesterday, four lovely handmade floats that will be perfect for fishing in the small drains. Jeroen and his wife have bought a print from me before, a copy of the 'Float Box', but this time they had bought a complete set of the 'Fen Skies' series that are illustrated below.
There's nothing quite like, or as enjoyable, as a surprise coupled with the excitement of opening a parcel that has arrived from abroad and then finding four little floats wrapped in tissue inside. I think I'll have to send a surprise back.
