The weather has been distinctly non-summer but the plum tomatoes are coming along very nicely thank you, each plant has six or seven trusses and they should have a lovely staged delivery of fruit. Are tomatoes fruit or vegetables? The bulk of the crop will be made into passatta and frozen for use in the winter and any surplus get used when the full English breakfast is on the table.
The 'season of plenty' rolls onwards.
