Home-made carrot cake. We didn't grow the wheat or grind the flour but they are our carrots, local walnuts and home-made marscarpone cheese made from local unpasteurised Jersey milk and unsalted butter from the same source added to the cheese for the icing. Lovely, all the major indulgent food groups are present and correct in there, what more could you want apart from a second slice?
Tonight I will give a generous piece its first test flight after dinner before quietly nodding off. Seems reasonable solution to me.
