Early morning wet walks

To say that the weather in West Norfolk has been wet is a massive understatement, it seems that an inch and a half of rain every twenty four hours is the new normal. The fields are sodden and some are flooded and the dykes are full way above and beyond where the land-drains empty into them from beneath the fields.

It's too wet for the heavy farm machinery to work and we've even seen equipment stuck in fields where a farmer has got just a little too ambitious for the conditions. Remember some of these machines are what people expect to pull them when their cars get stuck in the mud.

And Lucie? Well you can see below her preferred position in this damp, windy and cold weather.
