Two days of stacking logs and my four legged friend and I have just finished getting them neatly piled out of the way of the worst of the weather. Mostly they are Ash logs so they'll be brilliant burning, lovely on a wild winter's night. Admittedly a Parson Jack Russell doesn't do a lot of carrying but operates in a more supervisory role, just like the Boss. Now the sun has gone and it's started raining with more to come so the task was completed with near perfect timing. That makes a change.
We shouldn't be lighting up anytime soon but you never know, be prepared is the phrase so when the big one blows in we're ready.
